Ashanti performs for some lucky passerbys

Street performers, also known as buskers, are part of the culture of most big cities. It’s these free performances from passionate artists that give our cities their magical vibes. It’s these moments of solidarity and self expression that make us feel connected and inspired in an otherwise hectic and overwhelming environment. 

Now imagine these moments were filled with Grammy-winning artists performing not just for their fans, but with them. On the most recent episode of Complex Networks and go90’s ‘Crashed‘ singer Ashanti did just that. The R&B diva surprised local busker Ashley, and helped prepare her for a live performance of “Foolish” (what else?). Ashanti had no qualms jumping in for an epic street performance.
