Beyoncé Points at Restaurant Menu in Photo, Gets Memed

Everything and everyone now lives at constant risk of ending up in a meme. For example, not even Beyoncé is immune to incessant memeing. After Beyoncé shared a new photo gallery to Instagram Wednesday of an outing with Jay Z, DJ Khaled Lenny S., and Ty Ty, a pic of the Lemonade Grammy winner pointing at a restaurant menu and chatting with the waitress quickly memed its way across Twitter:

According to Time, the location of the photo was the Beauty & Essex restaurant in Los Angeles. Though the pic itself was first shared Wednesday, the memeing has continued well into Thursday. Here are some more highlights:

This week also saw the launch of Beyoncé’s new Formation Scholars awards. The scholarship, according to Beyoncé, is designed to “encourage and support young women” to be “bold, creative, conscious, and confident.” The program was announced in celebration of the one-year anniversary of Lemonade. Participating schools include Berklee College of Music, Howard University, Parsons School of Design, and Spelman College. Additional details are available directly through participating institutions.
