Big Sean Gets Second Straight No. 1 Album With ‘I Decided’
It’s official: music fans have decided to give Big Sean his second straight top-charting album.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Billboard announced on Sunday that in its first week of release, Sean’s new album I Decided nabbed the top slot on the Billboard 200 albums chart, beating out Lady Gaga’s Joanne. Gaga was unsurprisingly seeing a post-Superbowl bounce in sales, but it wasn’t enough to beat out the Detroit rapper. He sold 151,000 equivalent album units in the past week, 65,000 of which were actual album sales. This is Big Sean’s second straight number one LP. Dark Sky Paradise topped the charts in 2015, selling 173,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

Coming in at number three this week is Migos, whose record Culture moved 68,000 units. They were followed by country star Reba McEntire and then, in the number five slot, The Weeknd’s Starboy. The Canadian singer sold 47,000 units, down seven percent from the previous week.
