Blac Youngsta Turns Himself in to Police Over Young Dolph Shooting
Blac Youngsta is reportedly in police custody, after surrendering himself as part of the investigation over a shooting targeting rapper Young Dolph.
According to TMZ, warrants for arrest were issued for Youngsta and two other unnamed men in Charlotte, which led to the surrender. The shooting, which took place in late February of this year, led to as many as 100 shots being fired in Young Dolph’s direction while he was on his way to a concert. No injuries were sustained during the shooting, according to local reports from the scene, and Dolph later performed at the Cameo Charlotte nightclub that evening.
The two have a history together, which ties into Yo Gotti’s feud with Dolph. Youngsta reportedly showed up in Dolph’s neighborhood with “heavy artillery” in March 2016, and heated words have consistently been exchanged between their respective crews on social media and elsewhere. The two have exchanged bars on wax in the past as well; Youngsta mocked Dolph by name on the song “Shake Sum” for being a transplant from Chicago, shortly after Dolph claimed he slept with the mother of Gotti’s child.
Dolph raised suspicion during a previous interview with TMZ, who he spoke with briefly about his relationship with Youngsta.
“He doesn’t know me, I don’t know him,” said Dolph. “That whole situation is see-through, just like the windshield. You know who got a problem with Dolph over there… I could make somebody go to any neighborhood I want to, there’s some people you just don’t play with, there’s some people you just don’t try.”
Blac Youngsta’s Instagram is down at the time of this posting.
