Boogie Works His Charm for New “Sunroof” Video
Compton rapper Boogie has been on our radar for nearly three years now. In that time, we’ve seen him grow as an artist and expand his fan base. At the end of last year, millions of new eyes pointed in his direction after he received a major co-sign from Rihanna. Following the release of his captivating video for “N***a Needs,” Rihanna shared a clip on her Instagram with the caption: “chillz…my new fav.”
With all of the new attention on him, and the talent to back it up, it seems safe to predict that 2017 is going to be a breakout year for Boogie. To make sure of that, the Cali rapper returned this week with a brand new video for “Sunroof”—another single taken from his latest mixtape Thirst 48 Part II.
For the new video, featuring vocals from Dana Williams, Boogie finds himself charming just about every woman he crosses paths with on one lucky day. The laid-back visuals work to emphasize the breezy vibe of the entire song.
