Bruno Mars received the Carpool Karaoke treatment. And it was everything we imagined it would be.

During Tuesday night’s episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden, the “Uptown Funk” singer hitched a ride with the host for his first appearance on the fan-favorite segment.

In this week’s skit, which was touted as “The Carpool you’ve been waiting for,” Bruno and Corden belted out hits like “Locked Out of Heaven,” “Grenade,” as well as the titular lead single from Bruno’s 24K Magic album. The high-energy karaoke session also included some expected banter from Corden as well as the two trading romance tips.

Bruno Mars Takes Over 'Carpool Karaoke' With James Corden

Bruno has been everywhere since the release of his 24K Magic album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 last month. A week before his Carpool Karaoke appearance, he performed during the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show along with Lady Gaga and The Weeknd. He’s also gearing up for his 24K Magic World Tour, set to kick off in March of 2017. On top of that, he was recently nominated for three NAACP Image Awards in the categories of Outstanding Male Artist, Outstanding Music Video for “24K Magic,” and Outstanding Song – Contemporary for the aforementioned title track to his latest album.
