Chance The Rapper Buys All of Chicago Chatham’s Tickets to ‘Get Out’ for Fans

Chance The Rapper loves to give back to his fans, and he consistently finds creative ways to do it. Sunday, he purchased all the tickets to the new horror film Get Out and tweeted the announcement to the world so Chicagoans could catch the movie for free.

“Just pull up with ID and enjoy the movie,” he said, directing his followers to go to Chatham 14 Theaters on W 87 St and S Western Ave.

Get Out, the brainchild of Jordan Peele (one-half of Key & Peele) has drawn excellent reviews, including one from Chance himself.

Average movie theaters seat 200-300 people, and movies these days run $8-10, which means each showtime probably cost more than $2,000. How many showtimes did Chance pay for? Doesn’t matter, point is: it was a lot of money and reinforced why people love the 23-year-old rapper, who recently cleaned up at the Grammys.

As you’d expect, fans were thrilled with Chano’s act of congeniality.

Even Twista had to get in on the fun.

So, what are you waiting for? Get there now!
