Chance The Rapper Expands his ‘Rapper Radio’ Platform

Chance The Rapper has an extremely strong and dedicated fan base. His fans proved the strength of their loyalty this past year as they not only helped him get “No Problems” featuring 2 Chainz and Lil Wayne on the radio, but pushed the single to crack the top 50.

Last summer, Chance organized a way to get fans involved in promoting his single and letting radio stations around the world know that people want to hear his music on the airwaves by launching his Rapper Radio platform. The website the age old formula of request songs much easier and far more effective than simply calling in. By just typing in their city, fans can select which radio stations they’d like to hear Chance’s music on and the button will tweet their request to the station’s official Twitter—something that can be done effectively countless times and beats waiting on a busy phone line.

A year later, Chance has announced that he’s expanding this platform after seeing how successful it’s already been. Now that he’s proven the effectiveness of this strategy, Chance is expanding Rapper Radio to allow fans to help other artists gain more radio play. In addition to his single “All Night,” fans can also tweet tirelessly to get more stations to play his collaboration with DJ Khaled, “I’m The One” featuring Justin Bieber, Lil Wayne, and Quavo. Fans can choose Jidenna’s “Bambi” and Linkin Park’s “Heavy” as well.

Head over to RapperRadio.com to show your support for these artists, and put yourself in the running to win a prize. Top fans will receive tickets to Chance’s currently sold-out Be Encouraged tour, and his wardrobe from the “I’m The One” video shoot. Winners will be selected this Friday, May 12 at noon CST.
