Drake’s Hot 100 Streak Reaches an Insane 400 Weeks

Drake’s dominance on the charts somehow keeps getting more impressive as we go along. The accolades and success speak for themselves, but that doesn’t mean Drizzy is planning to slow down anytime soon. The 6 God’s latest feat comes via Chart Data, who are reporting that Drake has become the first artist to spend 400 straight weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

That’s almost eight years. Think about it. May 2009 is when the streak started. Barack Obama was just starting his first term as president. Among some of the more notable Drake tracks to chart on the Hot 100 during that period: “Headlines,” “Hold on, We’re Going Home,” “Hotline Bling,” and of course “One Dance,” which spent 10 weeks in the No. 1 slot.

A completely insane run by Drake. Oh yeah, it probably won’t stop anytime soon either with More Life on the way and “Fake Love” currently in the top 10. Congrats on the milestone, Drake.
