Future Is Dropping His New Album ‘HNDRXX’ This Week

2017 is shaping up to be a big year for Future. Less than a week after the Atlanta rapper rolled out his self-titled project, he confirmed rumors he would release another album by the end of the week. It’s called HNDRXX.

HitsDailyDouble reported Future had another project up his sleeve and would deliver it by this Friday (Feb. 24). The record is said to be more radio friendly than its predecessor. Future tagged Rihanna and The Weeknd in his Instagram announcement, possibly hinting at some collaborations on the project. All signs point to the 33-year-old crooner earning another No. 1 album.

During a Twitter Q&A on Tuesday, the rapper was asked about the rumored project, specifically if he was motivated to release new material after a rumored legal battle with A1 Recordings founder Rocko. Future insisted it had nothing to do with producer/rapper.

Last summer, Rocko sued Future for allegedly breaching a contract. A1 agreed to sign Future on the condition that the label would handle his first six albums. This, of course, didn’t happen, as the rapper later inked a deal with Epic Records. According to unverified reports by Heavy, Future has settled the lawsuit with Rocko, who will get 50 percent of Future’s touring profits for the next two years, as well as royalties from Future’s next two albums.

It’s obvious that Future isn’t going to let any fake lawsuits stop him from releasing new music. You can pre-order the album here.
