Future Tears Up ‘Ellen’ Stage With Performance of ‘Incredible”
Despite what was being reported by some media outlets earlier this week, Future will not be releasing his third album in three weeks on Friday.
But Future has put out a lot of new music over the last two weeks in the form of Future and HNDRXX, so he has a lot of new music to perform at the moment. And on Thursday, he stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show of all places to deliver an energetic performance of his new song, “Incredible,” with the help of DJ Esco, Zaytoven, and a live band. The song appears on HNDRXX and will likely end up being the next official single from the project. And if the reception it received from the Ellen audience is any indication, it would probably be wise for Future to push the song for all it’s worth.
As Ellen noted prior to his performance, Future is currently trying to do what no other rapper has ever done with the back-to-back releases of Future and HNDRXX. He is trying to score two No. 1 Billboard 200 albums in consecutive weeks, and as of Monday, he was on pace to do it.
HNDRXX in particular is quickly gaining favor with many longtime Future fans and rap fans in general. As we said earlier this week, it may end up going down as the best body of work Future has released, which is really saying something when you consider the mountain of music he has pumped out over the course of the last few years.
