Here Are All the Performances From the 2017 Billboard Music Awards
The 2017 Billboard Music Awards are here, and the show features an impressive list of artists set to take the stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. If there were an prevalent theme with the slate of performances this year, it would have to be “firsts.”
For the first time, Camila Cabello will perform “Crying in the Club,” the first single off her upcoming solo debut album The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. since parting ways with Fifth Harmony. Four years after releasing her own debut album Pure Heroine, Lorde continues to inch her way back into the spotlight as we get closer and closer to the June 16 release date of her sophomore effort Melodrama. Then there’s Miley Cyrus will take the stage for the first time at a major award show since completely overhauling her look and sound.
This year’s Billboard Music Awards will also feature a performance by Bruno Mars, who never seems to disappoint, as well as Ed Sheeran, Imagine Dragons, and The Chainsmokers. And we couldn’t possibly talk about the artists set to take the stage without mentioning Nicki Minaj. Nicki will kick things off with a medley featuring Lil Wayne, David Guetta, and Jason Derulo, so needless to say, the smart move would be to get in front of that TV right when the show starts because you don’t want to miss a thing.
With performances from Cher, who will be receiving this year’s ICON Award, and Céline Dion where she will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her hit song, “My Heart Will Go On,” there’s something for everyone.
We will be bringing you coverage of the performances right as they happen. Check back here as we update the post throughout the evening.
