Jay Z Parties With Diddy and Rihanna in First Appearance Since Beyoncé’s Pregnancy Announcement
From Jay Z and Notorious B.I.G.’s well-known collaborations “Brooklyn’s Finest” and “I Love the Dough” to the Diddy, Sean C, and LV’s work on American Gangster, there’s a pretty clear connection between Jay Z and Diddy dating back to the late ’90s. Diddy sent out a visual reminder that those connections remain in place via some Instagram photos as the Roc Nation team assembled for a pre-Grammys brunch on Saturday. The photos are believed to be Jay’s first public appearance since Beyoncé used an Instagram post to announce she and Jay were expecting twins.
Diddy captured some rare behind-the-scenes pictures of himself and Jay Z prepping for the brunch before working in the type of branding plugs both moguls have been known for. There were plenty of photo opportunities to promote Ace of Spades, D’use, and the many other brands under both the Roc Nation and Bad Boy umbrellas.
In addition to Jay Diddy and the many brands they sponsor, celebs such as 2 Chainz, DJ Khaled, Yo Gotti, and Fat Joe were all on hand. Neither Jay nor Diddy are individually nominated for any Grammy awards this year, but the Carter family is expected to add a few trophies, as Beyoncé is up for multiple awards for Lemonade. Roc Nation artists Rihanna, Fat Joe and DJ Khaled are also all up for various Grammy nominations.
