Juelz Santana Reflects on The Iconic Dipset x Supreme T-Shirt

In 2006, Supreme released a T-shirt that featured a photo of Juelz Santana and Jim Jones. At that point, Dipset was one of the biggest hip-hop groups—and it showed. The tee sold out, became a grail piece, and is now worth $1,500.

In an interview with Complex, Jim told us that he had no idea who Supreme was; he was simply there for the check. And according to him, Supreme was “smart” to have worked with him and Juelz given their fame. “They knew what would stick, you know what I mean,” he said. “And Dipset was something that definitely was gonna stick.”

Juelz, who was promoting his new music, stopped by the Complex office recently. The Harlem rapper reflected on the iconic Supreme x Dipset tee. He even talked about the Supreme x Louis Vuitton collaboration and his plans to work with Supreme again.
