Kanye West to Unveil Yeezy Season 5 at New York Fashion Week
Kanye West will debut Yeezy Season 5 next month in New York City. West’s latest collection in partnership with Adidas will be unveiled during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 15 at 5 p.m., Fashionista reported Tuesday.
Just don’t expect a repeat of last year’s Yeezy Season 3 spectacle at Madison Square Garden or the Roosevelt Island follow-up. Season 5 will instead debut at Pier 59 Studios, a frequented NYFW locale. At the time of publication, additional details—including whether or not we should expect the show to be accompanied by new music—had not been made available.

The confirmation follows a report from E! News earlier this month that West was focusing on family life while also preparing “surprise projects” following his hospitalization last year. “His kids are his number one priority for him and he wants to be a good dad and make his mother proud,” an insider said. “He thinks about her every day.”
As for those “surprise projects,” the insider the pieces include “music and concerts in the spring and summer.” West also reportedly wants to reboot the Saint Pablo tour, which was brought to an abrupt end prior to his hospitalization and divisive Trump remarks. “[Kanye] loves his show,” a source close to the tour production told E! News. “He wants everyone in the world to see it.”

But the Grammy Awards ceremony, also set for next month, isn’t likely to be the venue for West to start teasing this “secret projects.” As TMZ claimed Monday, West—alongside Justin Bieber and Drake—is reportedly skipping the festivities altogether.
