Kodak Black Drops First Post-Prison Song “There He Go”

Kodak Black was just released from prison and the rapper has already dropped his first new song, “There He Go.”

Directed by 20K Visuals’ YungMik3, the video was shot at Kodak’s house since he is currently under house arrest.

The rapper, who left prison last week after reportedly posting $100,000 bail in South Carolina, seems to be taking a page out of Gucci Mane’s book and wasting no time with his newfound freedom to get back to work. Since his release, both he and his producer Dubba-AA shared videos to social media of them getting to work in a home studio. If you remember, the pair even connected while Kodak was still in behind bars with Dubba-AA uploading  “Jailhouse Blues Freestyle” to YouTube.

Upon his release, Kodak shared a personal message with fans. “I’m happy to finally be going home to my family and friends,” he wrote before standing firm that the current charges against him are not true. “I look forward to clearing my name in the very near future. I want to thank God, my family, my team (Vanessa, Phatboy and James McMillan), Atlantic Records, my lawyers and all of my fans for your continuous love and support. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love most—working at being the illest rapper alive.”
