Kodak Black Has Reportedly Lost $300,000 Since Being Locked Up
Kodak Black is reportedly losing hundreds of thousands of dollars while in jail. Kodak’s missed shows inflict an estimated $50,000 each in wallet damages, TMZ claimed this weekend. By the time Kodak appears in court later this week, he will have either postponed or canceled a total of six shows. Following TMZ‘s per-show estimate, that means Kodak stands to lose $300,000.
Kodak attended court in Broward County last Tuesday and was arrested for probation violation, XXL first reported. Black, according to an arrest warrant, violated the terms of his probation by failing to “remain confined” to his approved residence. Under the terms, Kodak was only allowed to leave the approved residence for one half hour before and after “approved employment” or other pre-approved special activities:

Last August, Kodak was sentenced to a year of house arrest and five years probation after pleading no contest to charges including false imprisonment, fleeing an officer, possession of a firearm by a delinquent, and robbery. The judge also agreed to withhold adjudication, the Sun-Sentinel reported. This agreement means Kodak won’t be plagued with a felony conviction, thus avoiding potential complications with future touring plans.
In their updated report on Kodak’s probation violation, TMZ also revealed what they claim is the “Tunnel Vision” artist’s tour rider. Golden Oreos, Perrier-Jouët, Patron, and a gaming system armed with Madden and NBA 2K titles are alleged requirements for the Kodak Black backstage area. Additionally, Kodak reportedly requires a 10-person dinner at every show.
In a statement to XXL last week, Atlantic Records said Kodak’s lawyers were “working diligently” on the latest development and were hopeful a resolution would be reached soon.
