Listen to Aminé’s New Single “REDMERCEDES”

It’s been a year since Aminé released his addicting breakout single “Caroline.” Twelve months and hundreds of millions of plays later, anticipation is building for a debut album from the Portland rapper.

Anyone who follows him on social media has seen a steady stream of photos from the studio all winter with some cameos from guests like ASAP Rocky, Charlie Wilson, and Leon Bridges. And he’s played new material at a handful shows (I personally can’t wait for this one).

Now, finally, we get another peek at what he’s been working on with a new single called “REDMERCEDES.” With a bass-heavy, head-knocking beat, this one reveals another dimension of the young rapper. If “Caroline” and “Baba” were the soundtrack to summer afternoon trips to the beach, this is for the whip at three in the morning.
