Mike Will Made-It Says He Has More Music on Kendrick Lamar’s Album
Kendrick Lamar’s “Humble” video has amassed over 12 million views since being released March 30. Those numbers would suggest a demand for more Kendrick bars over Mike Will Made-It production, and the man behind the Ear Drummer’s sound recently indicated he will be featured a few times on Kendrick Lamar’s upcoming project.

“Do you ever feel like you need to get with some other artists who may do something else…more socially conscious stuff just to broaden it a little bit?” Charlamagne Tha God asked during Mike Will’s visit to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club.
Mike Will responded that he had some such material “coming this week” from an artist he wouldn’t name. The timing of the hint lines up with the release of “Humble,” which dropped Thursday.
“I got something coming this week, and I got two more on that project,” Mike Will added.
There’s some room for interpretation depending on if you consider Kendrick Lamar “socially conscious.” The most basic break downs of tracks like “Swimming Pools” and the Obama-approved “How Much A Dollar Cost” would support Kendrick being classified as such.
Kendrick appeared on 2014’s “Buy The World” from Mike Will Made-It’s Ransom project, and he also appeared on the Ransom 2 track “Perfect Pint.” There’s sure to be plenty of speculation between now and the expected April 7 release date of Kendrick Lamar’s latest. But it certainly sounds like Mike Will just gave everyone a rather obvious hint about who will be behind the boards on three tracks.
