Premiere: Watch the Latest Episode of Yo Gotti’s ‘Behind the Nine’ Documentary
Yo Gotti takes us deeper into the process of creating White Friday and reflects on his success in episodes five and six of his Behind the Nine documentary.
“I just always knew, no matter what, I was gonna get some money and I was going to be successful,” Gotti flat out tells the camera in the latest episode. “I want to say that I knew I was going to be a successful rapper, a successful drug dealer. I knew I was going to be a successful something.”
The rapper also discusses buying himself out of a couple deals after signing paperwork that he shouldn’t have signed. “I ain’t mad that I signed it because it taught me shit. You can’t cry over spilled milk,” he explains.
Soon enough, Jeezy shows up at the house for a video shoot. As the camera shows the two rappers together, Gotti’s voice plays over the visual laying out their relationship. “I feel like me and Jeezy started together. I got a lot of respect for him. That’s one of the people that I call to the crib and be like, ‘Yo, check these joints out.'” The pair then talk about things over a quick game of pool.
There’s also some more behind-the-scenes studio shots of Yo Gotti laying out tracks like his White Friday single, “Power of Money.”
