Pusha T Shuts Down Rapper for Claiming to Be a G.O.O.D. Music Signee

I can formally announce that I have been signed to G.O.O.D. Music. Actually, that’s nowhere near true. But see how easy it was just to say it?

Pusha T, G.O.O.D. Music boss, encountered an apparent Costanza attempt Tuesday after getting tagged in a tweet from artist King Myers. According to Myers, he’s a new signee to the G.O.O.D. roster and even has a single produced by Kanye West. But not so fast, Pusha says:

Myers responded by declaring King Push, the president of G.O.O.D. Music, “out the loop” in a tweet that has since been deleted.

As the detectives over at KanyeToThe noticed, Myers managed to make it into a CNN article Tuesday regarding West’s Trump purge on Twitter. In the article, Myers is referred to as “a new signee to West’s G.O.O.D. Music label.” But that’s not all. A tweet from Bowling Green rock band Cage the Elephant in December appeared to tease a collaboration with Myers and West, followed quickly by an article on MTV Base in which Myers was again referred to as a new member of the G.O.O.D. team.

Myers also shared this last week, without context:

But, um, about that track: According to a fresh report from TMZ, sources close to West have confirmed Pablo “has nothing to do with the track” and is putting his attorneys to work on getting his name removed from its promotion. The song, a Trump diss entitled “Propaganda,” also borrows artwork recognizable to West fans as a prominent fixture in the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy era.
