Remy Ma Is Already Performing “ShETHER” on Tour With Lil Kim

As it relates to her current beef with Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma may be operating according to the old proverb, “The enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Saturday, Remy Ma dropped the scathing, nearly seven-minute Nicki Minaj diss “ShETHER.” The Bronx MC wasted little time giving audiences a live version of the song as she shared billing with The Lox, Lil Kim, and Cardi B during a stop on the Filthy America … It’s Beautiful tour in Pennsylvania.

It should be noted that the tour was announced roughly a month before Remy dropped “ShETHER.” But the choice to drop such a track on the same day as a tour launches will likely not be viewed as a coincidence in some circles. Remy sharing a tour with Lil Kim—who beefed with Nicki for years about failing to acknowledge her influence—may just be icing on the cake.

And in case going at Nicki over Nas and Ron Browz’s infamous “Ether” instrumental wasn’t enough, Remy reiterated her bars from “All The Way Up.”

“Six bird bitches none of them get fly/See I don’t wanna hear about your records and big numbers/’Cause I was up top seven winters and six summers/Cuffed all in that bus locked me all the way down/Now I’m all the way up.”

Record sales have already been added into the equation, with Nicki Minaj re-tweeting a fan’s meme pointing out the disparity between Remy Ma’s sales and Nicki’s.

And with Ebro Darden refuting Remy’s claims of Nicki being romantically involved with Darden on Hot 97’s airwaves Monday, listeners can expect this beef to continue to simmer.
