Rich Homie Quan Says He and Young Thug Aren’t Speaking
Rich Homie Quan may have squashed any hope for a Rich Gang reunion.
During a recent interview with 99 JAMZ‘s Supa Cindy, the Atlanta rapper discussed his relationship with Young Thug, reiterating they didn’t have any beef. Which is good news, right? Well, Quan also revealed he and Thugger aren’t on speaking terms.
“We don’t got no bad blood, but we don’t talk,” he said. “We don’t talk every day like you would think we would talk every day. But we don’t got no bad blood. I just leave […] you know, it is what it is. I wish him the best.”
But wait. If they aren’t speaking to each other, how do you explain the new Quan x Thug music leaks and previews? Quan claims those records aren’t recent.
“They’re old,” he said. “I remember them getting leaked about two or three years ago. We ain’t did music in a long time.”
Last week, Thug previewed a track that will appear on his upcoming singing album E.B.B.T.G. (Easy Breezy Beautiful Thugger Girls). The teaser was especially notable because Quan was featured at the beginning, leading many people to believe the two had ended their unexplained beef.
Just a year after they released their joint mixtape Rich Gang Tha Tour, Pt. 1, Thug sparked rumors of a feud after shouting “bitch homie quan” during a Rodeo Tour stop. During a 2016 concert in Santa Ana, the Jeffery rapper also yelled “fuck Rich Homie” into the mic. Quan has repeatedly said he has no hard feelings about the comments, but did admit it hurt.
