Sampha Shares New Song “Under” and Covers Roy Davis Jr’s “Gabriel”

Sampha‘s debut album Process drops tonight at midnight, but he has a couple new pieces of music for us before the moment finally arrives.

Sitting down behind the keys with BBC Radio 1, he transformed Roy Davis Jr’s classic 1996 piece of Chicago house music “Gabriel” into a gorgeous piano ballad—as only he can.

Then, checking in with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, he shared another cut from Process called “Under,” one of the more upbeat moments from the album. Listen below as he chats with Lowe about the new project. Look out for Process at midnight.
