Sir Signs With TDE, Drops “W$ Boi” Video

After letting the internet speculate over who their newest signee was, TDE has unveiled John Doe 2: Sir. The Inglewood artist was previously rumored to be aligned with the label, with this new announcement making it official.

To celebrate the signing, Sir dropped his new video for “W$ Boi,” which you can check out above. Previously, Sir released his HER EP back in October, a project Kendrick promoted on Twitter.

“I’m proud and it’s an honor,” Sir said about the signing and reaction to his HER EP in a press release. “The response has been crazy. It’s been amazing. I’m just excited that people love the music and are listening. I got so much more to share.”

Label president Dave Free also shared his excitement over TDE expanding. “Sir is a great addition to TDE,” he said. “He’s a talented writer and artist who’s always willing to work hard and push boundaries creatively, making him a perfect fit.”
