SZA Previews Music From Her New Album in “Where The Hell Have You Been” Video
The road to SZA‘s debut album CTRL hasn’t been a simple, straightforward path.
A rift with TDE co-president Terrence “Punch” Henders prompted SZA to say “I actually quit” in a since-deleted October 2016 tweet. Shortly after, she told Complex that she plans to move on from music and try other things because of current frustration and anxiety.
After delays, the project’s latest rumored release date (February 3) has come and gone, but today SZA revealed a new interactive website that features a video outlining her “road to CTRL.” The three minute clip is full of behind-the-scenes video and new music that we assume will end up on the album. No release date has been announced yet, but this is the clearest sign yet that a project is on its way soon.
