T.I. Talks Trump and Joey Bada$$ Breaks Down His Album on “Complex Live”

On this week’s “Complex Live,” we’re joined on set by Joey Bada$$, who breaks down his new album, All-Amerikkkan Badass. He speaks on what inspired his “Land of the Free” song and video, what he feels his responsibility as an artist is in our current political climate, and the overall themes of the album, which is out April 7.

 

We also catch up with T.I., who tells us about his “Us or Else” film and explains why he recently came at President Trump, after Trump insulted Snoop Dogg. Then, we meet a few teenagers who are ahead of the game: One is a 19-year-old running for office in Tip’s home state of Georgia; and three others are New York-based friends who are turning their love for streetwear into a business. We also have a bizarre interview with mansionz, and get a live performance from Quinn XCII.
