The Weeknd and Selena Gomez Reportedly Have Big Plans for the Grammys

On Tuesday morning, the Grammys announced that The Weeknd would be performing with Daft Punk at the premier event, which will mark the French DJ duo’s official live comeback. The Grammys also revealed that A Tribe Called Quest will take the stage for a special performance with Anderson .Paak and Dave Grohl during the show.

While everyone is gearing up for the festivities, TMZ is reporting that Weeknd and Selena Gomez have some big plans in store, which further confirms the swirling rumors that they’re currently dating. According to TMZ, Abel and Selena have already RSVP’d for Clive Davis’ lavish Grammy eve party and Weeknd is requesting that the Recording Academy seat them next to each other during the show. It appears that the Grammys could be the big coming out event for Abelena.

Interestingly enough, TMZ reported yesterday that Justin Bieber will not be in attendance at the Grammys. If you recall, Bieber had some words for Abel a few days ago, saying in reference to his music: “That shit’s wack.” It’s unclear if the new Selena and Weeknd development had anything to do with Bieber’s decision to skip the Grammys.
