THEY. Keep Their Momentum Rolling With Smooth New Single “Silence”
LA duo THEY. (one of our favorite new artists of 2016) are finally about to drop their debut album Nu Religion: Hyena this Friday, and they just dropped off one more single to keep our appetites wet.
Kicking off 2017 with one of the boldest, most unique R&B songs in recent memory with the siren-blaring “U-RITE,” they’re back with a comparatively smooth cut, “Silence.” More in line with traditional R&B aesthetics, the duo still manage to inject plenty of their one-of-a-kind “grunge R&B” style into the song’s three and a half minute run time.
