Thundercat Puts the “Friend Zone” to an End on New Single

Valentine’s Day is the day that millions of people around the world express their love to others. In most cases, the love is mutual and the day turns into something special. Unfortunately for many others, these attempts aren’t met with the loving reactions we hoped for. That’s where Thundercat’s new single “Friend Zone” comes in.

The friend zone can often be more hurtful than straightforward rejection. After months, or even years, of showing affection and thinking you’re finally getting somewhere with your crush, the realization that you’ve been stuck in the friend zone this entire time finally hits. For this new single from his forthcoming album Drunk, Thundercat voices his frustrations and puts an end to the friend zone once and for all.
