Watch ASAP Ferg’s Official Music Video for “East Coast,” f/ Remy Ma
ASAP Ferg and Remy Ma show love to their home turf in the new video for “East Coast.”
The visual arrives nearly a month after the DJ Khalid- and Tariq Beats-produced track debuted on streaming services. It also serves as the lead single off Ferg’s latest project, Still Striving, a follow-up to 2016’s Always Strive and Prosper.
Hours before the Harlem rapper premiered the video at the TriBeCa screening room, he delivered a behind-the-scenes sneak peek and dished about his vision for the project.
“As far as creating the song and the visual, I just feel like I wanted to bring the New York energy back,” he told Billboard, “bring it back to the fun videos and creativity and innovation.”
Fellow New Yorkers ASAP Rocky and French Montana also make appearances in the video, which was directed by Ferg and Shomi Patwary. You can check it out above.
This past week has been huge for Ferg fans. The “East Coast” visual comes less than a week after Ferg dropped his ASAP Mob track “Wrong” alongside ASAP Rocky. It also follows the news that Ferg will replace Kodak Black on Future’s Nobody Safe Tour, which kicks off this week.
