Watch Lady Gaga’s Super Bowl LI Halftime Show

We know some of you were disappointed Migos didn’t open the Super Bowl halftime show, but you have to admit: Lady Gaga did her thing.

During the live broadcast Sunday, the famously eccentric singer stepped out to deliver a medley of her biggest hits. Gaga opened the set with a powerful rendition of “God Bless America” before jumping off the stadium roof onto the stage, which gave Twitter mixed feelings:

Following the plunge, Gaga treated fans to performances of “Poker Face,” “Born This Way,” “Telephone,” “Just Dance,” “Million Reasons,” and “Bad Romance.” And, just as expected, she broke away from tradition by doing the entire show solo.

It was a good performance from beginning to end. But were people expecting something more?

Prior to Gaga’s performance, there were rumors the outspoken artist would use the halftime show to make some sort of political statement. She, like millions of others, have protested Donald Trump’s presidency through rallies and marches; so, of course, many assumed Gaga would provide some kind of social/political commentary during the show. But, other than the opening number, it was kept pretty straight forward.

If you missed the live broadcast, or just want to relive it again, you can check out the halftime show above.
