Watch the Video for Danny Brown and Paul White’s New Song “Accelerator”
Later this week, Paul White and Danny Brown will release a two track EP titled Accelerator. Featuring the title track and “Lion’s Den” alongside instrumentals for both tracks, the EP is set to further explore White and Brown’s chemistry. Paul White produced the bulk of Danny Brown’s latest album Atrocity Exhibition, and previously worked with him on 2013’s Old. Now the pair have shared the title track from the EP, releasing a suitably manic video to accompany it.
The Eoin Glaister-directed video is absolutely ridiculous in the best way possible, featuring a man played by Ewen MacIntosh as he attempts to get back his previously missing brain. It’s about as silly as that description would imply, with MacIntosh’s character walking around with a big bandage on his head, and the brain floating away from him in a frenzied chase sequence that lasts most of the video.
Considering the chaotic nature of the track itself, Glaister couldn’t have managed to produce a better visual for the track. Accelerator is due to come out this Friday (February 10) via R&S Records, and will be the follow-up to White’s 2015 EP, Visits the Seagull Mansion. Watch the video above, and look out for Accelarator when it arrives at the end of the week.
