Young Thug Drops the Official Music Video for “Guwop”

Young Thug is going all out this week. Just days after he unveiled the incredible music video for “Wyclef Jean,” the Atlanta rapper came through with another Jeffery visual; this time, it was for the Gucci Mane-inspired track “Guwop.”

Unlike “Wyclef Jean,” Thugger appears in most of the video, alongside featured artists Quavo, Offset, and Young Scooter. We see the men hanging out in what looks like the backstage of a venue, shooting dice, smoking weed, and flashing stacks before hitting the stage for a show. It’s a traditional rap video in comparison to “Wyclef Jean,” but it’s still entertaining and slightly off-kilter. Desiigner, Trey Songz, and Meek Mill make cameos in the clip, in addition to horror icon Jason Voorhees.

You can check out the “Guwop” video, directed by Garfield Larmond, above.

2017 has been a rollercoaster for Thug so far. Not only is he facing a nearly $19,000 lawsuit from a limo service, the 25-year-old also has another warrant out for his arrest. But it appears he’s not letting any of that get him down. Thugger recently hinted at a collaboration with The Weeknd, a project with Future, and an appearance on Drake’s The Boy Meets World Tour.
