Cardi B Facing Jail Time!
CardiB is not free from charges for her alleged involvement with a brawl at a strip club back in 2018.
According to CBS 2 News, the rapper will travel to Queens Criminal Court Oct. 25 where she will be set for a hearing. After being charged with 12 counts, including two counts for attempted assault and one for reckless endangerment of life, Bronx native Lisa pleaded not guilty in her arraignment in 2019.
Cardi is accused in an attack on the Wattley sister bartenders at the Flushing strip club in Queens during the incident.:threw glass bottles at them during their scuffle.One sister claimed that her head was even smashed into the bar during the altercation.
According to court documents, Cardi B plotted the attack along with Tawana Jackson-Morel, and Jeffrey Bush. The trio coordinated the date, time, and location of the assault on the sisters. According to sources, the rapper orchestrated the attack in retaliation against one sister she believed was sleeping with Offset.
Cardi and her friends could spend up to four years prison if convicted.
