Jason Weaver stopped by The Hip Hop Uncensored podcast to talk about his hit show The Smart Guy and why it ended abruptly. Also known as J-Weav, he is an American actor and singer. He was best known for his roles on The WB sitcom Smart Guy and Jerome Turrell’s short-lived sitcom Thea. In 1993, he played the role of Marcus Henderson. He also sang the role of Simba, the young man in Walt Disney Feature Animation’s 1994 film The Lion King. He was also featured in Chingy’s hit single, “One Call Away”, from 2004, which reached number 2 on Billboard Hot 100. He was Teddy in ATL, the 2006 smash movie.
