After being released from prison, a lawsuit was revived and his lawyers claimed that “mob justice” was on the horizon.
Two months after Bill Cosby was released from a Pennsylvania prison for his conviction of sexual assault, his lawyers returned to court.
They were fighting a civil suit by a woman who accused him of sexually assaulting her as a teenager. The attorneys claimed that Cosby could face another criminal case.
Bill Cosby will be tried in civil court for assaulting girl, 15 at Playboy Mansion in 1974. His lawyers claim that he is going to trial because’mob justice” is coming to him after he has been released from prison.
Judy Huth claimed that Cosby abused her when she was 15 years old at the famous mansion. He was 37 at the time.

he lawsuit was a slow process amid his criminal proceedings, convictions for sexual assault of another woman, and criminal charges.
Craig Karlan, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge, lifted a stop to the case moving forward Friday and set trial for April 18, 2022
Karlan’s decision was made less than two months after Cosby had been released from prison and his 2018 conviction was overturned.
Cosby was convicted of drugging Andrea Constand and sexually assaulting her.Friday’s ruling by a Los Angeles County judge meant that the case should be heard before a jury in April 18. This was a significant step back for the lawsuit, which had been stalled due to Cosby’s Pennsylvania criminal case. #billcosby
