Dr Boyce Watkins stopped by The Hip Hop Uncensored podcast to talk on Lil Nas X’s Breakfast club Interview. Charlamange Tha God asked him about his influence on children.
To promote his album Montero, Lil Nas X was on The Breakfast Club Thursday. The controversial artist listed the album’s key features during the interview and said he had reached out to Nicki Minaj and Drake.
After claiming he didn’t get a response from Nicki Minaj, and Drake was too busy with Certified Lover Boy to respond, Lil Nas X was questioned about his critics referring to his young fans who express their concerns about his content. Although he admitted to feeling a sense of responsibility for his younger fans, he has since rejected this notion.
“I feel like I used [to have a responsibility], but it’s just like, “So?” He said, “F*** your children.” “We only get one chance to do it — at least, to my knowledge. I don’t know what happens if we die or whatever. It’s not like I want to be a pawn to your children or to you. This is something I have to do with my family members. My family may not always be in agreement with me or the person I’m with. It’s like, I really, truly, want to live by…this our life.” #lilnasx
