New York City Gunman Faces Off with Vegas Cops Before Deadly Shooting
Shane Tamura, who fatally shot four people—including an NYPD officer—at a Manhattan office building, had prior troubling encounters with Las Vegas police and a history of mental health issues reported by his mother. Newly released bodycam footage and 911 calls from as far back as 2022 reveal multiple red flags, including arrests, threats, and concerns about CTE, yet he still legally possessed a firearm. The victims included a police officer, a security guard, and two accomplished professionals, all killed after Tamura mistakenly entered the wrong floor of the building housing the NFL’s corporate offices.
