Alex Murdaugh Speaks Before Getting Locked Up for Financial Crimes
Before getting sentenced for the financial crimes he committed, convicted family killer Alex Murdaugh spoke to his victims, family, and the judge. Murdaugh profusely apologized for his actions and spoke specifically to each victim who was sitting in the courtroom waiting for him to be sentenced. Originally charged with 101 financial crimes, Murdaugh took a plea agreement dropping the charge count to 22 crimes. It’s believed Murdaugh stole more than $8 million from his clients, many of whom are disabled or lost their loved ones.
