Bodycam: Mom Allegedly Pepper Sprayed Her Kids After Forcing Them to Smoke
A New Mexico mom is facing charges after being arrested twice in the first week of June 2024. Las Cruces police said Yvonne Legardy allegedly forced two of her children to smoke cigarettes after finding a vape in their possession. Further allegations accused Legardy of pepper spraying her kids on multiple occasions when they “acted out.” According to an arrest affidavit, Legardy is accused of hitting one of her children with a metal mop for “not cleaning the backyard properly.” Get all the details on this episode of Law&Crime BodyCam.
