Charlie Adelson's Defense Insists He Did Not Plan Professor’s Murder: ‘Nothing to Do With This’
Opening statements began in the anticipated hitman conspiracy murder trial Thursday morning against Florida dentist Charlie Adelson. Prosecutors claim he allegedly hired three people to kill Dan Markel, his ex-brother-in-law and Florida State University professor. “I will show you that Charlie Adelson had nothing to do with this,” defense attorney Daniel Rashbaum explained to jurors.
