Ace Hood will never forget those who doubted him. The Florida rapper makes this abundantly clear on his latest release titled “Remember.” Ace reflects on the odds he overcame and the heights he’s reached in his career over the production of Ray Real and Jay Pesci.

“I was supposed to be broke/Never was ‘posed to be dope/Wasn’t supposed to get signed/They was supposed to say no/Let them tell it, they hope I’m doing so bad/I just bought me a brand Jag/And it came with a brand new tag/And that bih goes 0 to 100 real quick/Bail left, popping bottles like I’m Will Smith/Got a bad bitch playing with the stick shift/Tryna find 20 ways to make the cash flip,” Ace raps.

“Remember” is another solid track from Ace, who has been releasing quality cuts over the past couple of weeks. Last month, the veteran MC provided fans with a reminder of his talent on “Guess Who.” He followed the track up with a record titled “2 Fux.”

The string of new songs might be a sign that Ace’s fifth studio album is coming sooner rather than later. The LP would serve as a follow-up to Ace’s Body Bags 4 mixtape, which was released in November. Last year, the southern MC also dropped another entry in his Starvation series. Check out Starvation 5 via this link if you missed last summer.
