August Alsina Has Choice Words For Trey Songz

A disagreement that stems back to 2014 has reared its head three years later. According to XXL, August Alsina and Trey Songz are at odds again following the latter’s Breakfast Club interview.

During the sit-down, Songz revisited his past rift with the “No Love” artist and said, “August was talking crazy a couple years ago. I ain’t want to fight. I don’t want to fight. I want to get some money.” He then continued, “There’s other people that have problems with me that I ain’t even address. I don’t want to fight nobody. That don’t prove nothing. I’m 32-years-old.”

Per the music site, Alsina’s breach with the “Can’t Help But Wait” singer involves the remix to his breakout hit, “I Luv This Sh*t.” “I don’t really f**k with Trey right now. We don’t get along right now,” Alsina said in a past interview with Rap-Up. “We ain’t on the same page. He did some other sh*t. We just don’t rock.” The R&B crooners were scheduled to have a show together at that time, “and it just went left because I can’t deal with ni**as’ egos and attitudes because I’m just a real ni**a coming through and I’m rocking,” Alsina added.

Now in present time, the New Orleans native took to his Instagram account to issue a retort to Songz’s recent revelation. “When ni**as mention yo name in a interview talking about catching fades but you already offered several fades years ago and will STILL gladly beat his goofy a** & then be cool later,” he writes.
