Rumors are swirling that somebody put them paws on Big Sean at a recent meet and greet. The Detroit MC is refuting those claims.

Earlier today (Feb. 18), Sean Don hopped on Twitter to explain what actually went down. And the situation sounds insane, no pun intended. “Look I never comment on this type of shit but they can’t do me dirty and say a fan smacked me or no shit like that,” he started.

However, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper does admit to an attempted assault. “Some guy waited in line in the cold since 10am, bought my CD, when I signed his CD n shook his hand he TRIED to hit me off guard,” he continued.

The story gets even wilder. The “Blessings” MC goes on to claim that the man who attempted to dot his eye suffers from mental health issues. “The dude was released from a mental hospital last week, has a long record of mental illness n was off his meds. Very serious issues,” he added.

This is the second time in the last month that someone has tried to get Sean out of his character at an event. The mild-mannered rapper screamed on a man at one of his Las Vegas shows a couple weeks back, after the concertgoer decided to start throwing money in the middle of the rapper’s set for no reason.
