Black Doc Cuffed At His Own Home Speaks, Says Cop Shouldn't Have Been Hired In The First Place
An African-American doctor was handcuffed outside of his home in Miami while preparing to volunteer to help protect homeless people from the spread of COVID-19.
The Miami police claimed that the officer stopped the doctor for leaving trash in his yard. However, Dr. Armen Henderson believes that he was racially profiled. Henderson filed a complaint with the Civilian Investigative Panel the same day. He is also seeking a settlement from the City of Miami.
