Bryson Tiller won big at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards, taking home the trophy for Best New R&B Artist. Belly, Dreezy, Kayla Brianna and Ro James were other artists nominated for the award.

Tiller’s project Trapsoul, with its seamless combination of R&B and hip-hop, earned plenty of attention when it released back in 2015. While Trapsoul has at least a few timeless bangers, fans can’t wait to get their hands on Tiller’s next project. There hasn’t been too much in the way of updates regarding his new album, but in January, the “Don’t” performer tweeted out that he was, indeed, working on a new project. He’s calling it True to Self.

“[I’m] working on this album called True to Self, non-stop until it’s finished. then it’s yours,” Tiller explained in a tweet. Guess that means it could be coming soon, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

In other iHeartRadio Music Awards-related news, Chance The Rapper and Big Sean have already left their mark at this year’s awards show. Chano took home the trophy for Best New Hip-Hop Artist, while Big Sean took the stage to perform his I Decided. singles, “Bounce Back” and “Moves.”

Tiller, Chance and Big Sean definitely handled their business tonight, but at least a few others from the world of hip-hop will get their shot later as the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards continue.
