Buddy and Kaytranada Drop Joint EP ‘Ocean & Montana’

Buddy has been ringing bells after becoming part of Pharrell’s I am OTHER imprint, especially in the last year, and now he’s giving fans a hot new project with the new Ocean & Montana EP. The Compton rapper-singer teams up with Kaytranada for the joint project, having the super producer handle the production.

While Kaytra provides some soothing background instrumentals, Buddy proves that he’s one of the top writers in the game with his songwriting abilities. The EP contains a total of five tracks, with no other features outside of the two. The project is currently available for purchase on iTunes, but can also be streamed on Apple Music and other streaming platforms.

On top of the EP release, Buddy is also drops some new visuals for the project’s introductory track, “Find Me,” which sees him trying to grasp his sense of self.

While Buddy has been making some major waves with his hit single, “Shine,” Kaytranada has been in high-demand from artists and even veteran producers. Just a few weeks back, Pharrell revealed that he wants to do a joint project with the super producer, which would feature Haitian artists, giving him a chance to dive into Kay’s native culture.
