Counseling Is Part Of A Fine If You Wear Saggy Pants In Mississippi
The state of Mississippi is seeking to put an end to saggy pants. According to the Huffington Post, Rep. Tom Weathersby plans to present a law that’ll fine those who violate the mandate, and possibly issue a decree that’ll require them to see a psychologist.

“Personally, I like to see people dressed when they’re in public and I like to see people with their pants up,” he said to the Mississippi Today. Within the proposed law, it’ll be “unlawful for any person to wear pants, shorts or clothing bottoms that exposes underwear or body parts in an indecent or vulgar manner.”
According to the news site, violators will first receive a “noncriminal citation,” and the fines increase from $20 to $100 if the violations expand. If the law is broken a sixth time, then you’d be required to attend sessions at the Department of Human Services, or the Department of Mental Health.

In the summer of 2016, Timmonsville, South Carolina banned wearing pants that expose your undergarments, with fines that run upwards of $600, USA Today reports.
