Drake’s Amsterdam Cancellation Reportedly Due To Food Poisoning

On Monday evening (March 27), Amsterdam fans weren’t able to store the memory of witnessing Drake perform live. Reports circulated across the web detailing Drizzy’s decision to pull the plug on his Boy Meets World concert, but the alleged cause was unknown.

However, according to TMZ, food poisoning was the reported ailment. The site states that the Toronto native consumed a dish of sushi that soon affected his stomach. By the time the concert was slated to start, the “Free Smoke” rapper was still under the weather, and decided to postpone the event per his doctor’s mandate.

Despite the hiccup in the tour’s proceedings, Drake’s More Life project was released just in time for the 30-year-old artist to test-drive a few of the melodies in an arena setting. The 22-track soundscape recently broke streaming and charting records, and features guest spots from some of Britain’s musical trailblazers including Sampha, Skepta, Jorja Smith and Giggs.
